A Memoir in Poetry

I’m so excited to share this little book of poems with you! It’s launch day. This is the day I dreamed about when I wondered if I could: a. write a book. b. write my life. and c. write a book about my life in poetry. There was something inside that kept me going, kept me showing up on the page. I’ve learned so much through this process of writing and self-publishing. I’ve learned to be both vulnerable and courageous (it’s sometimes hard to share the tough stuff). I’ve learned to ask for help and feedback from other writers. I’ve learned a ton about myself (and what I want to “keep” as my life narrative). I’ve learned that it takes a village to self-publish. So, here we go! It’s time for this little pearl to shine.
